When we were approached by a representative from the Better Business Bureau, we never could’ve imagined that we would be on the cover of their Spark Magazine. They spent some time interviewing Jim, Mary, Becky and Chris and found that their ideas for the business and their goals are all the same. Earlier this year, we rolled out "ReDefine". This focuses on our business practices and goals so each and every employee has the same mindset and knowledge. We have set out to be different than your average contractor and for you to know that we are not the bad guy; we are just a group of people who are trying to improve people’s homes.
The article in Spark gives a clear picture of how Badger Basement Systems came to be what it is today. Jim Hedrick was a pioneer in the basement waterproofing industry in our area. Not having someone to fix his own basement water issue, he took it upon himself to learn and try it out in his own home. Little did Jim know at that time, that decision would change the course of his life. He now has a company that runs like a well-oiled machine, has a group of people that look up to him and enjoy listening to all of his story’s. Jim now has the flexibility to spend his winters in Florida with his wife Dar. Aside from all of that, he has helped over 40,000 homeowners find peace of mind in their homes, and that number keeps growing.
