We had historic flooding in the area so our house has a lot of seepage. This prompted us to remove the drywall in the basement due to mold concerns. Behind the drywall, we found some old cracks that appeared to be poorly filled in. We had someone take some measurements on the foundation and he said it was fine for now. So we started scraping the old, flaking paint off and the mortar just crumbled away to reveal about 1/8-1/4"verticals/diagonal crack that's more than 1" deep. We would like to get a second opinion and get input on how to repair the crack

The only thing that I need to follow up on is, when the crew was leaving, he mentioned giving us some extra carpet squares in case of spills or stains and both of us forgot when he left. We just got talking and didn't remember. I would still like to have some in case they are needed.

I don't know if the price is determined by the size of the house or the number of days the men have to work, or both. We were told the job would take 3 days. The two men were very efficient and finished in 1 1/2 days. Also, in the initial contract it was stated that basement steps would have to be removed and then reinstalled. That did not have to be done saving time. My guess is that when a job is priced, the number of work hours is considered. Would have liked follow up on when the laundry room hole was to be filled. The inspector was on vacation and there was no communication as to when he was coming back and the hole was going to be filled. The crew left Friday and it is Wednesday and we still have not heard from the Badger as to when they are going to finish the laundry room so we can do a final clean up. Also, maybe let customers know ahead of time that they will not be able to put anything on the newly poured concrete for a week. Because of this, I did not use my washing machine for a week right before a vacation. Had I known, I may have scheduled Badger for a different week. Other than those 2 comments, we were very satisfied and would highly recommend. Thank you Badger!

This was BY FAR the best experience we have had with any contractor coming to our home. I avoid offering recommendations to friends/family on the basis of previous expereiences with OTHER contractors. I feel 100% confident recommending you to anyone that needs your services. Chris and his group went above and beyond in the work they did, even replacing a leaky sump pump pipe that I was unaware of. They finished on time, cleaned up better than I would have, and never thought I could be so excited about a crawlspace. Thank you!
