The CarbonArmor System The CarbonArmor System

When dealing with your home's foundation, it can be difficult to know what your best options are.  At Badger Basement Systems, we have several options that our design specialists take into consideration while doing their onsite visit.

One of the options that we have is the CarbonArmor System.  This system is designed to stabilize bowing and leaning walls.  The CarbonArmor strips are made of fiber-reinforced polymers that are 10 times stronger than steel.   They are installed tight against the wall and the installation is fast, giving you immediate stabilization.  The strips are even paintable or easy to conceal if you finish your basement.

This type of installation can be done year round and usually in less than one day, so why not start protecting your walls today!

We had a 3-inch-in-an-hour storm here Wednesday, and I thought everything was OK after I checked the sump pump area for water. Have lived in this house for almost 2 years and no water. But on Saturday night, my feet got wet on the carpeting in the finished corner of the basement. Baseboards were bowing from the walls and mold was starting to show behind them on the drywall. Sunday morning we got a wet vac and sucked everything up and are running fans and a dehumidifier. Insurance adjuster was out Sunday for the hail damage on our roof and he added all this to the claim when he saw it. The bigger problem than the repair is making sure it doesn't happen again. I can't tell at all how the water got in or where it came from. We didn't have any pooling around the house. Really need a pro to figure this all out. Hello! During last night's heavy rain, we had water come through a basement window that is at grade level (picture available). It does not have a window well, and I'm wondering if installing one might solve this issue in the future. Please let me know if this is a service you provide and what would be required for next steps. Thanks!

We have an 1855 stone farmhouse and as I spend more time in the basement, the first floor joists/support poles look to be placed in a haphazard manner with 1 or 2 looking precarious. I'd like to get an opinion/estimate on what it would take to improve the floor joist/support structure from the basement area. Additional information: Preferred Method of Contact:: Phone
