We just moved into a house in Brodhead, WI. There is definitely some kind of moisture mitigation that needs to take place in the basement. No obvious cracks in the foundation, standing water or visible leaks-except for a small one we can fix (toilet water line connector), but the basement is very musty and there are a couple rooms on the top floor that smell "mildewy" as well. The basement is partially finished, but the finished part is not done well and we worry it may be concealing previous water damage.
