Barneveld is beautiful and full of rolling hills, but just like all other places in Wisconsin, it cannot escape foundation issues.
We were called to an apartment building for bowing walls and water damage on the finished walls. It was clear once the drywall was removed what the problem was. The wall had cracked and the upper portion was tipping towards the outside. The water was able to come in through the crack and the top part of the wall needed to be put back in to place and stabilized.
We suggested having our PowerBrace system installed along one whole wall and adding interior water control along 2 of the walls. The PowerBraces would stabilize the wall and they are adjustable so if the bowing wall can be moved back to place, we can make that happen. The water control would gather any water intrusion and direct it to a sump pump, keeping the areas dry.
