Recently moved and it seems that the sump pump is running constantly. Particularly after heavy rains, it doesn't stop running. Already had a plumber check the current pump and confirmed the floater or flapper are stuck. I fear premature motor burnout and the current pump is not powerful enough to handle all the water it's trying to pump out.

My buyer is under contract on a property and the inspector found this along with the need for hanging insulation in the crawl space to be tucked up and covered. I can send photos as well. "There was no vapor barrier installed in the crawlspace area to assist with moisture control. If left uncovered, excessive moisture can build up in the crawlspace area which can lead to wood rot and/or mold growth that could damage the floor above and pose potential health risks."
