The Surgeon General has declared October 17-24 as Federal Radon Action Week. The American Lung Association, Center for Disease Control, National Cancer Institute and Basement Systems Dealers across the United States agree radon is a national health problem. Radon is a deadly, naturally occurring and odorless gas, 1 in 15 homes across America have high levels of Radon.

Short-term exposure to radon does not often display noticeable symptoms though long-term exposure can result in cancer. Radon exposure is the second leading cause of lung cancer in America.
